I told myself that this year I was going to rewatch all of the Harry Potter movies in October to do something fun and cozy. Well, Stardew Valley has since taken over my life. Still fun and cozy (and about 8 years late to the party), and I can listen to an audiobook while tending to my cows which makes me feel like I am self-care-maxxing in some way as my eyes glaze over. I try not to police myself too much when it comes to free time — sometimes you have the bandwidth for sewing and a 32-hour audiobook on religious fundamentalism, and sometimes you have the bandwidth for TikTok. Something I always have the bandwidth for when I am not out living my real life is shopping secondhand online, so please enjoy the fruits of my Depop and eBay saves :)

It’s not necessarily the season for it, but this Depop seller is making Doen-like tops to order, for what it’s worth. I feel that a gauzy white top can be an all-year staple with the right fuzzy cardigan on top!
Have Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet tour platform boots been on anyone else’s mind? For a more accessible and dare I say office-friendly version, check out these. I feel like those among us who participate in fashion discourse are all about unique color palettes at the moment — I’m imagining these with burgundy tights!
I thought these were Kate Spade on first glance, but no! They are incredible though.
Launching my petition to bring back the twinset! I have a very simple black merino twinset (it was my grandma’s) that I bring on work trips all the time, and while I rarely wear the shell and cardigan together, I am often surprised at just how versatile it is. You’ve essentially got three built-in outfit makers in one: wearing them together and then each piece separately. This Escada one is particularly chic.
Another cashmere option!
And oh look, matching Prada green mules! eBay is relentless in advertising these to me on Instagram, and with good reason, but they are sadly not my size. The slime green propaganda is working…
More very cute mules, and a great price! Time to make a flip-flop sound around the office.

I have seen Laini Ozark wearing this Kotn skirt a lot, and while the topstitching isn’t exactly the same, I did find this extremely similar Kate Spade one for $21 on Poshmark!
Me recommending something brightly colored: fork found in kitchen, I know. Still I am already thinking about holiday dressing (AKA my one week of cold wet weather in NC at Christmas) and this dress looks very cozy.
This post about how we don’t really need designer leather handbags rekindled my interest in finding a vintage Vera Bradley bag. And look at how cute these bees are!

Finally, a few more cutie little shoulder bags. Going clockwise: one, two, three, four.
My next edition of this series is going to focus on the elusive category of “Holiday Dressing” because I aim to be prepared this year! Be on the lookout for velvet mini dresses and Pendleton skirts…
